Review: BOURJOIS 123 Perfect Foundation

Few years ago, I discovered the world of makeup and beauty products on the Internet. I fell in love immediately, but I got jealous and angry at the same time because I'm not a part of that wonderland. I know that sounds funny but it wasn't easy to start writing about the make-up or any other products related. Is that only me? I don't know, but it took a long, long time to make my own blog and write first post.

So, here we are :)
Keep your fingers crossed :D

I decided to write a review about my new liquid foundation that I discovered on other girls' beauty blogs. This little bottle of gold was real revelation for me. My facial skin ( I know that I should write every single detail about my skin type, eyes, hair, nails, bla, bla... and I will do it as soon as possible!) can be a real pain it the a** :D : oily, normal and dry at the same time but on different areas. I didn't use any foundation during the winter time. My favorite and only product, except day and night care cream, was Garnier BB cream, Miracle Skin Perfector in medium. However, two months ago, I wanted something that hides imperfection much better than just a usual cream. Decision was made! I have decided to use BOURJOIS 123 Perfect Foundation in No 53/ Light beige.

Packaging is simple, practical but attractive. It is a 30 ml glass bottle with functional pump and clear plastic lid on the top.

Front side is covered with written information about the main characteristics that makes this product unique among other drugstore foundations. It got three correcting pigments and it covers every imperfection:

1. yellow pigments: anti-dark circles
2. mauve pigments: anti-dull complexion
3. green pigments: anti-redness

Also, Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation has SPF 10 which is really commendable! Hydratation last for 24h (at least so says) and there are few more "promises" on the bottom of the bottle: flawless complexion, even to perfection up to 16hrs. This product is made in France. Merci France :)

On the other side, you can find product ingredients.

Well, I think I gave you enough boring information, lets talk about my personal opinion and experience about this little star in my secret constellation: BOURJOIS 123 Perfect Foundation :)

I used this product for two months, and believe it or not, I was satisfied with the final look after the first use. Really! I was! This thing really work its job and you don't need to put too much of it on your face. I can get enough product only after one (or sometimes two) pushes on the pump. It seams like it is a low density liquid, almost oily between the fingers, but it drys pretty fast when in contact with the skin.) Somehow, the liquid formula transforms into dry mat finish. You just need to blend it really fast. But, I dont have a problem with it :D . I tried to apply it to my face in a few different ways and I found it looks much more natural and complete when I apply it with the foundation brush, rather than the fingers. Regarding my dark circles; I still need to use a concealer and set everything in place with the loose or pressed powder.

The only thing that I have to mention as a negative characteristic of this product is duration without visible oiliness. Maybe, that is just my type of skin, but this foundation does not last up to 16 hrs as it is written on the bottle. After 6-8 hours I can clearly notice the oily reflection on my forehead and T-zone. But... If I take into account that I didn't find any perfect foundation for my skin in my whole life, and because of all other positive effects that this foundation brings to my face, this problem is not a big deal!

Ultimately, the results are really impressive. There is no visible pores, no redness, or any other kind of skin imperfection that I temporary have. Final look is really "photo friendly" ;)

So...let me take a selfie! :D :D
